SolarHub Shares Electrification Insights at U.S. Embassy Event
Last year, SolarHub was honoured to present at an event hosted by the U.S. Embassy in Canberra as part of their Canberra Greening Initiative (CGI).
The event featured the “Art from Trash” competition, promoting sustainability and creativity through recycled materials, alongside discussions on renewable energy and electrification.
SolarHub shared insights on its role as the largest solar retailer in Canberra, with over 70MW of solar capacity deployed. The presentation highlighted SolarHub’s evolution into a leader in whole-home electrification, combining solar with smart batteries, energy-efficient air conditioning, hot water systems, EV charging, and Home Energy Management Systems (HEMS).
SolarHub addressed the challenges and opportunities in transitioning to renewable energy, emphasising the critical role of homeowners in driving Canberra’s electrification goals and the broader shift toward sustainable, all-electric homes.
SolarHub values opportunities to engage in meaningful conversations about sustainability and remains committed to driving the ACT’s transition to renewable energy. We extend our gratitude to the U.S. Embassy for hosting this event and providing a platform to share insights on renewable energy and electrification.
