SolarHub Named an Approved Vendor for Electrify 2515!
The future of home energy is here—and it’s electric. SolarHub is proud to announce that we have been selected as an approved vendor for Electrify 2515, Australia’s first community-led electrification pilot.
We are excited to contribute to this outstanding community project, helping homeowners switch to fully electric, high-efficiency energy systems that help lowering costs[1] and shrinking carbon footprints[2].
The Electrify 2515 Community Pilot, founded by Dr Saul Griffith, is a collaborative effort driven by Rewiring Australia, Brighte, and Endeavour Energy. Backed by funding from ARENA*, this initiative combines expertise and resources to create a model for clean, fully electrified living in the Illawarra and beyond.
Electrify 2515 Community Pilot is an Australia-first initiative designed to make all-electric, energy-efficient homes powered by solar and batteries the new normal. The pilot focuses on supporting 500 diverse homes within the 2515 postcode area, providing subsidies and access to payment solutions for upgrades that include:
- Battery storage
- Energy efficient hot water heat pumps
- Induction cooktops for safer, gas-free cooking
- Electric, efficient space heating and cooling
- Smart home energy management systems (HEMS)
