Haier Monoblock Heat Pump
A hot water heat pump efficiently utilises renewable energy to provide reliable and cost-effective heating for your home’s water supply, reducing both your carbon footprint and utility expenses.
Haier, a Chinese multinational home appliance company, also owns major brands such as GE and Fisher & Paykel. Their new monoblock hot water heat pump strikes a perfect balance between efficiency, durability, and affordability.
Product Information
The Haier Monoblock Hot Water Heat Pump has a storage capacity of 246L, it comes with a 5-year full product warranty, and can operate from -7°C to 45°C.
This product also has a relatively quiet operation noise level at 43dB, equivalent to a quiet library, or a refrigerator hum (both between 40dB and 45dB). Another feature we like about it is the large and easy to use controller, with Wi-Fi connectivity also included with all heat pumps.
Energy-Efficient
Using 70% to 80% less energy than traditional hot water systems, a heat pump is the most efficient method of heating water, and Haier's heat pumps are no exception.
Wi-Fi included
This heat pump connects to the Haier SmartHQ app, allowing you to select your operation mode directly from your phone: Electric mode, Auto mode, Eco mode, Vacation mode and Boost.
Low GWP refrigerant
Not all heat pumps are equally eco-friendly. The Haier Monoblock heat pump uses R290 refrigerant, which has a Global Warming Potential (GWP) of 3, whereas a lot of heat pumps on the market use R-134A, with a GWP of 1430.
Low temperature operating range
The Haier was designed with Australia' cold climate in mind, with an operating range between -7ºC to 45ºC. Having installed many of these heat pumps in Canberra already, we haven't noticed any temperature-related issues with this product.
