Storage capacity up to 128 kWh
Three to eight modules per tower (12–32 kWh) and up to four towers connected in parallel enable flexible expandability for all applications with high energy requirements. Thanks to its modular concept, the Reserva Pro can be retrofitted at any time to a maximum of 128 kWh of usable energy.
Federal Battery Rebate and ACT Loan Options for the Fronius Reserva Pro
The federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program has been running since July 2025. It takes the discount off your quote at the point of sale, so there is no separate application. It applies to households and small businesses across Canberra, the South Coast and the Snowy Monaro, and it can cut the upfront cost of your battery by around 30%.
The saving is set by the date your battery is installed, not the date you sign. It is calculated per kWh of usable capacity, and the rate is tiered. The first 14 kWh earns the full rate. Capacity from 14 to 28 kWh earns 60% of that rate, and capacity from 28 to 50 kWh earns 15%. Nothing is paid above 50 kWh.
What that means for the Reserva Pro: an 11.9 kWh battery earns the full rate on every kWh. Larger sizes still qualify, but each kWh above 14 adds less to your saving than the ones before it. We will show you the exact saving for your size on your quote.
The rate steps down every six months, with the next reduction due in January 2027. If you are close to deciding, the installation date matters.
ACT Sustainable Household Scheme loan
The ACT does not offer a separate battery rebate. It offers a loan. ACT residents can borrow between $2,000 and $20,000 through the Sustainable Household Scheme at 3% interest over up to 10 years, with no establishment fees. You can use it to cover what is left after the federal rebate. Concession card holders may be eligible for a zero-interest loan under the Home Energy Support Program. The loan is for ACT properties only.
